MARCH MADNESS luncheon for staff

The 1st grade classes have been assigned March, as our month to provide a teacher/staff appreciation lunch.

This luncheon will take place on Wednesday, March 14th!

Our lunch is MARCH MADNESS....and we are looking for game-related or tailgate type foods, as well as volunteers.

Please update this blog with the food you would like to provide. Volunteer opportunities are also listed below.  (If you can not post on blog - sign in required - please post a comment and we can get it updated.  Thanks.)

MAIN DISHES

Chicken Wings – Naked or BBQ (1 volunteer)

Chicken Wings – Breaded (1 volunteer)  - Canfield

Meatballs – Day

White Chicken Chili – Jackson

Deli Sandwich Tray - Ramey
Pulled Pork Sandwiches - Bishop

**  NOTE....  Alternate options for a main dish are:
            Fried Chicken
            Quesodillas
If you would like to provide these alternate main dishes, in lieu of the above, we can make a switch!

SIDE DISHES
Veggie Tray (1 volunteer) - Sheets
Nacho's and Queso (1 volunteer) - Sprouse
Chips and Salsa (1 volunteer) - Dial
Potato Salad (1 volunteer) - Anderson
Pasta Salad (1 volunteer) - Dunkle
Dips/Crackers (1 volunteer) - J. Kaster
Cheese or cheese/pepperoni tray (1 volunteer) - Bischoff

DESSERTS
2 volunteers, your choice. 1)  Dollens;  2) Armstrong

(Just coordinate with the other volunteer bringing dessert.)

MISC ITEMS

Plates/Napkins (1 volunteer) - Howard

Silverware (1 volunteer) - Bardonner

Drinks/Cups/Ice (1 volunteer) - Tea, Bottled Water, or Soda - your choice. - Carpenter

Plastic serving utensils (1 volunteer) - Ramey

Decorations (1 volunteer) - in Indiana teams theme: ND, IU, Butler, Purdue - Barkley

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

If you are unable to provide a food item or would like to volunteer on the day of the luncheon, please consider one of our volunteer opportunities:

7:50 AM/8 AM - Moving food from parking lot collection area to staff lunch room - Day,

Helping decorate teacher's lunch room - 8 AM -

Helping set-up luncheon at 10:30 AM (First teachers come back to eat at 11:00 AM) -

Helping clean-up at 1:00 PM. -

If you provide a food item, please be sure to mark your dish with your name so that we can easily return it to you at pick-up after the luncheon.

As like last year, we will park in the parking lot & collect all food items so that you do not have to go inside. Please look for room mom's in the parking lot at drop-off with tailgates open on the morning of the 14th starting at 7:30 AM.
